Words to Live By

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
-Philippians 4:13
" Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails."
- 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

“The truth is, everyone is going to hurt you. You just got to find the ones worth suffering for.”
“In this bright future you can't forget your past.”
-Robert(Bob) Nesta Marley

“If you're gonna be two-faced at least make one of them pretty.”
“Keep smiling, because life is a beautiful thing and there's so much to smile about.”
-Marilyn Monroe

Cinderella goes to Vegas!!

Yes! Finally, we made it to Vegas!
The Bellagio
MGM Grand
Prada on the Strip
We went to Vegas for out 4th wedding anniversary. It was so much fun. First, I'd like to tell you about the great hotel deal we got. We stayed at the Venetian Hotel and Resort for $134/night! If you have ever stayed there then you know this is a great deal, their standard rooms usually go for almost $300/night. Our overall saving was $380!! We used bookit.com, they have mystery hotels that describe the amenities but doesn't reveal the name until you pay for it. So I crossed my fingers and pushed SUBMIT. Woohoo! I was so excited to get the Venetian because it has somewhat sentimental values (it's where we stayed for our honeymoon).

While we were there, we drank and gambled (of course, what else do you do in Vegas?) We also got to see Holly Madison's Peepshow. It was amazing! We were able to get great seats for the price of "alright" seats, all because the salesperson was feeling nice that day. Talk about LUCK!! The show was awesome, its like Cirque du Soleil meets strip-club! The singing was pure talent, the choreography and dancing was extravagant, and of course the boobs and naked women kept the men watching lol. It was really amusing and if you ever get the chance to see a show and looking for fun, definitely check it out.

Our trip was a much needed one. It was great to get away from the stresses and responsibilities of everyday life. No kids, no mom, no dog, school or work.
Just the two of us.

Mr. & Mrs.

EXACTLY 4 YEARS AGO TODAY.
OUR WEDDING DAY.
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

Yup! 4 months pregnant and I was ROCKIN' that wedding dress! Anyway, I was 17 and Josh was 20 when we got married. Happiest day of my life.

I knew we were just months away from being parents. Life began to pick up speed and it hasn't pushed the breaks at all. So here is the timeline of all major events since this lovely day when it was just me & him:

Sept 1, 2007 - Wedding day
Sept 3, 2007 - Josh moves in with me and my mom (yikes)
Feb, 11 2008 - Our daughter is born.
Feb 2009 - PREGNANT AGAIN!!
Nov 2, 2009 - Our son is born.
2010 - Thank god I wasn't pregnant this year
 *sigh of relief*
and here we are in 2011- I'm still going to school for my AA in Architectural Drafting, Josh has a stable job, we have 2 kids and a puppy....and still living with my mom!!

Living at home with mom, husband, 2 kids, and dog, going to college full time, taking care of the kids full time, cleaning, cooking, and pretty much relying on my 6 hour sleep schedule to get me through the day can be a little overwhelming at times. I lied its VERY overwhelming, MOST of the time!

Now your up to date on my crazy little life. I'm trying my hardest to bite my tongue around my judgmental mom, be a little more loving to my hard working husband, a little more patient with my rambunctious kids, give a little more attention to our playful puppy. But let me tell you, on the inside I JUST WANT TO SCREAM!!! I can't do everything around here! Sometimes I just feel like Cinderella...
